Albums I’ve Purchased Recently: Helios - Eingya

Theres something incredibly awesome about this album, and the way it makes me feel. I was listening to this with Wes and upon first listen he thought that this would “be perfect for waking up to.” Very true. When I bought that turntable last week, this album was at the top of the list of albums I’d like to own. Sure, I probably paid too much for the vinyl version of the record, but when I got it today I realized that I bought it straight from the guy that made it; Keith Kenniff. Maybe its that I’ve become so disconnected from the world of actually buying music that this is really, really cool to me.

I think part of what drew me to this album was the album art. A while back I posted that I had found the artist of the album art. This was a big deal. I’d say more than half of the reason I decided to start buying vinyl was for big, beautiful album art. I plan to post more about the albums I begin to accumulate, and why. This is one that definitely warranted a huge post.
