I hate it when I mistake the Google search bar for the address bar.

It seems I do that a lot as well.

use quick searches, and eliminate the google search bar altogether. type “google whatever” in your address bar and it will function like the search bar. applicable to any site with a search form (right click on it and select “add a keyword for this search”)

Even better; ‘g’ for google, ‘gi’ for google image search etc.
