Inspired by these incredibly awesome sketchnotes from sxsw09, I headed to Minnewebcon 2009 with the plan to sketchnote every presentation I went to. This eventually degraded to more and more elaborate sketches of the presenters, and less notes about the actual presentation. It was pretty awesome to see the reaction from Twitter as I posted these from my iPhone. So I kept showing up to the different lectures and sitting in the back with my moleskine, doodling away.

It was surreal to be in a room full of people all talking to each other over twitter. I met a few of the people that started following me because of my drawings, but in general I have no idea who noticed the drawings from the conference. Needless to say, I’m going back next year.
